Ariel and I created Block and Pixel in August of 2022. We had been looking for a business to do as a couple and we decided that we wanted to sell something we both love: video games.

We began by selling video games on Mercari. We had some success buying lots of video games and selling each piece of the lot individually. We had fun, but we didn't know how to scale.

Fortunately, I work full time and my income covers our bills. We didn't need to take any profit from Block and Pixel. Considering there really wasn't much profit, this was a good thing 😅.
